09.12 | Eddie Izzard and James Cromwell join the cast of '24' for season six

This is too bizarre: UK comedian Eddie Izzard is to appear in '24' as a sixth season villain.

In an even more bizarre move, James Cromwell - star of talking pig movie 'Babe', as well as Star Trek's Dr Zefram Cochrane - has signed up to play Philip Bauer - Jack Bauer's estranged dad.

Was Donald Sutherland not available?
