Even more surprising is the planned comeback of another female significant other - Jack’s daughter, Kim (Elisha Cuthbert), whom Gordon hopes will heighten the emotional punch of Jack’s return. And while admitting that some of her past perils on the show have been justifiably ridiculed (“We don’t just like to jump the shark,” he laughs, “we like to ride on its back!”), he promises “no mountain lions and no amnesia” this time around.
