08.08 | The '24' season four DVD box set is out today

Just a quick note: the UK version of the '24' season four DVD is out to buy today.

Special extra features include a 'building the new CTU' featurette documentary and 40 deleted or extended scenes with optional commentary.

Amazon UK has it for the price of £33. You also get a boxed set of all four seasons for £85 if you don't already own seasons one to three.

There's only two full episode commentaries, according to 24fans.com. There's also some screengrabs of the DVD menus at that site. Worth a look.

You can view a two minute trailer or six minute season prequel at 24dvd.co.uk.

About the top trump card in Season 4 box set. I got Behrooz Araz, but when I bought the pack from www.toptrumps.co.uk that card wasn't in it...so I think it looks like you gotta buy both the pack and the dvd. I don't know how many cards there are to collect?!?!

I want to buy season 4 and can't wait till it gets here in the US unless its coming soon which I don't know. If I buy UK will it play ok on my dvd machine?

You'll have to check if your player is multi-region compatible, which if it's recent, it should do. Try googling for the model name of your DVD player. UK DVDs are region 2, so if it can play those, you're OK. If not, wait for the USA version of the boxset, which is out in December 2005.
