Fox is taking Indian TV company Zee Telefilms to court over its series 'Time Bomb'. 'Time Bomb' is a 24 episode During international political thriller on global terror, set in real time and revolving around a plot to assassinate a young and dynamic Indian Prime Minister.

Nope, doesn't remind me of anything similar at all...

Comments:

I really hope that the producers of 24 manage to stop the Indians from airing Time Bomb. For too long now, India have been able to plagiarise quality shows/movies from the US/UK. It's time all this was put to a swift end.

After all the shows of ABC and NBC that FOX rip-off like Supernanny, Wife Swap, The Apprentice, Dancing With The Stars and Extreme Makeover I think Zee-TV are giving FOX a taste of their own medicene. I hope Time Bomb airs and Zee-TV get away with it!!!

I don't think that "Time Bomb" should air, there are enough bad TV shows out there, why make more? I wish people could come up with things that are more original these days...

When will the indians stop copying the West in all aspects of its life, not just TV and give us all a break. Its embarrasing to watch them.

Time Bomb is an original. Only the thing that is similar is Terrorism and the anti terrorist agency. Give me a break, every country is facing terrorist problems and every country has an agency for it. So what's wrong. Plus Time bomb is not about the assassination attempt like 24, it is about nuclear explosion attempts in 4 cities of the world. So please know the whole story before writing anything about it. It's a wonderful show and very well made.

Time Bomb on Zee & Terror Attack in Delhi - it smells the same If the idea is to provide a refreshing change on the small screen and provide a different pattern of entertainment, then I would say the channel has definitely succeeded in that with Time Bomb. Also, in terms of the casting there's a whole lot of detonating material so-to-speak. No bombshells this time but instead two male bombs, Sujal (of Kahiin to Hoga fame) as well as Ansh. Two very popular faces with Indian audiences in recent times. I think both can help the channel boost its ratings. Though the question of whether audiences watch stars or serials will always remain; yet I believe each star has his/her own audiences. Keeping this in mind, I think the channel has kept Ansh's original style in Kyunki intact. But Rajeev i.e Sujal somehow looked very tired and hassled in the serial. I think the character demands it With The Rising director Ketan Mehta at the helm, one obviously expected a lot of mirch masala in the serial. The curtain raiser episode started with some fast paced and gripping footage of the 9/11 terrorist attack that shook the world. Four different sub plots were introduced cut-to-cut with the help of split-screen technology. There was a separated stressed out urban couple, their personal lives, Osama bin Laden and an Indian Prime Minister. I m a student of Journalism in MBICEM, Delhi & I must say that I got good marks on the review writing on this Ketan's wonderful serial that been compared with AXN's serial"24". I really love this serial & even my friends as its a boyishful story continuation of another superb serial "Pradhan Mantri", which was launched in the year 2001. I give 8 out of 10 to this excellent serial 'Time Bomb 9/11' Tam ratings I watched for week 26 (19 June to 25 June) has Time Bomb scoring 2.34 TVRs (Hindi speaking markets, TG +4). And now after the dead night of terror attack of Time Bomb in DELHI of real world the ratings will defeneately rise. I myself live in Sarojini Nagar & my bhuas house is very near to the explosion spot & we were too about to go there, Sai Baba saved us. The windows of homes were shattered and many cracks came in the godams nearby. The terror atack really made Diwali flavour down, But yes seeing RAW in serial makes one somehow a little happy. But every one hopes that in real life RAW, Police & other agencies would prove to some extent. Thank you God for saving us & many more lives, who got out safely from the scene. Afterall Delhi Court today awarded death sentence to Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist Mohammad Arif alias Ashfaq convicted in the December 2000 Red Fort attack case. Additional Sessions Judge, O P Saini, awarded life imprisionment to two key conspirators, Nazir Ahmed Qasid, and his son, Farooq Ahmed Qasid, who were held guilty of waging war against the state along with Ashfaq. One real true happy news! It was a very planned attack & seems to be having many reasons with it. Terrorists now want Hindu Muslim Conflicts to arise & thus RAW has announced that They have some plan to Time Bomb on 4th 'Id' on various places not only in Delhi but even outside Delhi in the Secular Nation. Hoping for Safe Diwali, Bhaiya Duj & Id Ranjan Student of BJMC, college MBICEM, GGS IP University Delhi
