09.13 | President Palmer wants out of Iraq
If Dennis Haysbert, who played President David Palmer on '24', really was president of the United States, he would "get the hell out of Iraq as soon as possible".
"It is an election year and normally I wouldn't say anything about the political process but the president we have, I sincerely hope he loses," the 50-year-old said of George W Bush.
"The man (Bush) has been shown to have lied profusely and done everything you can to make you distrust him"
I'd vote for Palmer any day.
would everyone just let this deep hatred for President Bush go! he is fighting back at a threat against our country and everyone gives him shit for it. what do people honestly want him to do?
our enemies are just going to get worse and so i give props to Bush for fighting back

George Bush should have fought back in a more unified way. He should have waited for united Nations approval because then now, the united states plan for iraq might not look so grim...SPENDING MONEY ON MILITARY RATHER THAN ESSENTIAL SERVICES????wow what a greaT president..NOT!!!!

Get real Canada. Your 'essential' services there take at least 3 weeks for a doctors visit.
And Daniel, there is an extreme hatred for Bush from the left. Why? Use your left thinking and counsel yourself on why people 'hate' him. Is it because he is a man of ideals? A man who sticks to his word? A man who has been called a liar by the elite left but cannot PROVE he lied?
The man has integrity... in my book, integrity goes a hell of a long way instead of the smear tactics that have been posed against him.

Unfortunately in politics, it's like that for most politicians, what I mean by that is, your not going to please everyone all of the time.

The depends on what the meaning of IS is...How's that for a LIE Mr. Palmer. Stick to acting - unless of course you were acting when you said that you admire Clinton when you said he was a man of honor and integrity (paraphrase). Take a lesson people- Terrorist strick even those who do not take a stand. Unless you take a stand and kill them first then they will attmept to kill all non - muslims first. take a look at the past recent months and look at what the terrorist have done to even those who have not taken a stand ie. Beslin, Spain, etc.

I guess I can tell you that the country has spoken. The "everyone" you all refer to as giving W shit are now officially in the minority. This President has just set the record for margin of popular vote over an opponent! I think the American people feel safe and morrally on the right track with this administration.
As for Mr. "Palmer"...I really liked him as his character on 24 and just like all of these other Hollywood "politicians" ....they should keep their big mouths shut! Like the other poster said..."stick to acting". These fantasy world players, who admittedly work all hours, claim to know more about politics and leadership than the rest of us year after year. Why...because they have money, fame, and opportunity to be heard. Too bad they lose loyal fans by shooting off their liberal mouths. Sorry Mr. Haysbert...you just lost my "vote" and you had me at the first episode!
