08.07 | The Times reviews '24' on DVD

On the extras front, more than 20 deleted scenes (almost one per episode) illustrate how tightly the stories had to be written and shot to fit into each one-hour slot. You can choose either to slip these back into the relevant episode or to view them separately - it’s a nice idea, but for the most part you can soon see why they were dropped from the final footage, as they really add only to the peripheral storyline. Overall, a disappointing experience.
Pah. The Times gives the '24' season three DVD a rubbish two stars out of five.

UK readers should remember that the DVD of series three is available to buy in the shops from this Monday, August 9th. There's some pictures of it here.
