01.12 | Mountain lion attacks kill 1, injure 1

Some advice for Kim Bauer from the San Francisco Chronicle:

Tips by the state Department of Fish and Game on how to avoid mountain lions in the wild and what to do if attacked:

Don't hike alone. Go in groups, with adults supervising children.

Do not approach a lion. Most mountain lions will try to avoid a confrontation. Give them a way to escape.

Do not run from a lion. Running may stimulate the lion's instinct to chase. Instead, stand and face the animal, and try to make yourself appear bigger. Raise your arms. Open your jacket.

Pick up your children, so they won't run. Even though it may be awkward, lift them without bending over or turning your back on the lion. A person squatting could look like four-legged prey to the creature.

Speak in a loud voice. Throw stones, branches, whatever you can reach without crouching or turning your back.

If attacked, fight back.

If only we'd known then what we know now, eh?

Lovin' the redesign. You appear to have forgotten the link to the 21 website though. I'm sure that was either a mistake or something you completely forgot out of drunken insanity. We all get those from time to time. :p

It's not finished yet! I'm not too sure about the green, either. What colours do suit '24', anyway? Fox seems to mish-mash it between black/orange and blue/black - most of the time, anyway.

I like as it is at the moment. At least you don't go all 12-year-old fan and make the entire font as an LCD digital display, and make all text in the form of adigital clock, SO:ALL:THE:HEADLINES:LOOK:LIKE:THIS:!!!:LOL!!:
