That's how I got hooked on the show. I was bored and decided to rent season one on a friday night. By Saturday night I had watched the whole bloody thing. It was like a book I just couldn't put down. By the following weekend I had Season two watched (had to space that one out a bit because of work.) and by that Sunday I owned the set. Can't say enough how much I adore this show.

Not that it matters, but my best friend recently borrowed my DVDs for seasons 1 and 2, and he watched them both within 48 hours. He began watching season 1 at 8:00am Saturday morning, and he finished by 2:00am Sunday morning (including bathroom and snack breaks). He then began season 2 around 10:00am Sunday and finished it up around 3:30 or 4:00am Monday morning.
I thought it was a bit obsessive, but he now knows the story better than I do, and that's an accomplishment.
