A bidding war for cult series '24' is hotting up after the BBC lost screening rights.

The third series of the thriller is up for grabs, with bosses at Channel 4 and Channel 5 expected to offer up to £10 million.

Rupert Murdoch's The Sun further pushes the agenda of Rupert Murdoch's Fox TV network by claiming that there's a £10 million bidding war for '24'.
